Igniting Excellence, One Engine at a Time
Look, we're not gonna feed you some polished corporate story about how we started in a garage with nothing but dreams. Truth is, we did start small, but what set us apart was our absolute obsession with getting it right.
Back in the day, I was wrenching on imports for folks who couldn't find anyone who'd actually listen to what their car needed. Most shops just wanted to slap on parts and send 'em out the door. We took a different route - figured if you're gonna touch someone's pride and joy, you better treat it like your own.
Started with a single bay and maybe three customers who trusted us with their builds. Word spread pretty quick when people realized we weren't cutting corners. That first year, we worked on everything from weekend warriors to actual track cars - learned more in those 12 months than most guys learn in five years.
A buddy brought in his Porsche 911 Turbo that another shop completely butchered. We spent weeks undoing their mess and dialing it in properly. Once that car hit the streets, suddenly we're getting calls about Ferraris, Lambos, classic muscle - the kind of machines that make your hands sweat just thinking about touching them.
Had to invest serious money in specialized equipment and training. Can't tune a modern supercar with the same tools you'd use on a Honda Civic, y'know? But that investment paid off because we became the go-to spot for anything high-end or weird.
Outgrew our old spot faster than expected. Found this place on Industrial Way - way more room, proper lifts, climate-controlled workspace for restoration projects. Finally had space to do things right without bumping elbows.
Brought on a couple more techs who actually knew their stuff. Not easy finding people who've got both the technical chops and the right attitude. You can teach someone to turn a wrench, but you can't teach 'em to care.
Here's the deal - we've got all the fancy certifications hanging on the wall. ASE Master Technician status, manufacturer training for most major European and Japanese performance brands, emissions specialist certifications for BC standards. That stuff matters because it means we're staying current.
But honestly? The paperwork ain't what makes a good shop. It's whether you're willing to spend an extra hour tracking down that weird rattle, or if you'll call a customer and tell 'em they don't actually need that $2000 repair yet. That's the stuff that keeps people coming back.
Multiple technicians with master-level credentials
Porsche, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, and more
Professional calibration specialists on staff
Fully insured and compliant with all provincial regulations
These days we're handling everything from basic maintenance on daily drivers to full ground-up restorations on six-figure exotics. Got a Countach in the back right now that's getting completely rebuilt - every seal, every bearing, making it better than it was when it rolled off the line in '85.
We're also getting into the EV performance scene because, let's be real, that's where things are heading. Already done motor swaps and battery upgrades on a few Teslas. Different kind of challenge, but just as satisfying when you nail it.
The shop's grown, but we've kept that same mentality from day one - do it right, take the time it needs, and don't BS people. Seems to be working out okay.
Whether you're looking at a basic tune-up or a full-blown restoration project, we'd love to talk about your ride. Come by and check out what we're working on - the coffee's always on.
